Karen student Activate Group

Karen student activate group was founded in December1996 at the first assembly of Karen student network group in mea la camp.

The aim and objective of this activate group was to unite the students graduated from high school in camps and Karen state.The group works as a platform where ideally all Karen students could communicate with each other. . This kind of networkalso makes it possible for every student, especially those living abroad, to contribute to Karen community.

Those students who are not KSNG members and graduated from high school before the foundation of KSNG could also become members of Karen Student Activate Group. This grouphasbeen officially registeredunderour network group.

Student activate group does not have a strict structure as other network groups because committee members are usually not working in the same office. However, there is an annual election which is necessary.

Group activity

As we area network group under the main group of Karen student network group, weare responsible to support them through suggestions, fundraising, cooperation and donation

And also we try to search for the higher education opportunity for our Karen students who havefinished their high school among local community, training workshop and other training for developing our organization.
Our activate group also gives advice to the executive committee of KSNG. What’s more, we visit and encourage the studentsin every camp, in Karen state and other places. We inform them every of our activity and the information from KSNG, and if they are interested they can joinus every time. We welcome everyone who are interested in joining us, without limitation of age. Our activate group also has annual meeting every year for evaluating our activitiesand draftingour new work plan for the coming year
