KSNG has publications of Student friend Magazine (SFM), and Factual Information and New Optics (FINO).
a. Student Friend Magazine (SFM)
Students’ Friend Magazine (SFM) was started in 1995 and was published every two months. After 2007, we do it every four months due to financial difficulties. The magazine committee is in charge of the layout and printing of the magazines. Up to now, the KSNG has published 29 issues of SFM. Each issue serves as a forum for grassroots students from different camps along the Thai-Burmese border. Students express their ideas, opinions, and feelings by writing articles and poems. SFM is also considered the a significant opportunity for strengthening students’ corporation.
b. Factual information new option (FINO)
Since 2000, KSNG started a monthly community newsletter called "Factual Information News Optics" (FINO). However, there were only 30 issues of FINO altogether due to financial difficulties. This Karen language publication contains international and community news, sports as well as critiques on current issues that concern the Karen people. The 1,000 copies are distributed inside the refugee camps and Karen State.
